Uncle Chris and Aunt Robin's Wedding

A couple of weekends ago, we took Elizabeth to her first wedding - Eric's Uncle Chris married Robin. Of course I managed to get not a single picture of the bride and groom, but I did get pictures of Elizabeth hanging out with her cousin Boston. Saturday night, we went over to Eric's Aunt Elaine and Uncle Mike's house and played with Boston. Those kiddos had so much fun!

Boston is super friendly and likes to visit with everyone. But every time he went to visit with Eric, Elizabeth realized, "Hey, that's my Daddy!" And insisted Eric hold her too. So we have lots of pictures of Eric with both kids.

Ok...something is going on with my layout, and I can't figure out how to post text where I want. But here are some more pictures from Saturday night and Sunday at the wedding.

Elizabeth Feeds Herself

It's generally a fairly messy adventure, but Elizabeth is getting pretty good at feeding herself. She can use a fork and spoon...at the same time!

Yogurt is particularly messy.

T-Ball

We got Elizabeth a T-ball set last weekend. The bat is a little heavy and awkward, but she worked hard to figure it out!

Jack was the assistant coach.
Then we played with bubbles. She loves it when we blow bubbles, but on this day she decided she could figure out how to make them.

"Bubble" is one of her new words. Last week we went for a walk and Eric picked a dandelion for her to blow. As the seeds went into the wind, she said "bubble". And it did look a lot like bubbles!
I just love this picture....she looks like a teenager here..."Mom, what?? I'm on the phone!"
In this picture you can see some of the blisters around her mouth. We had a yucky week last week with Hand, Foot, Mouth disease. She got blisters in her mouth and throat (as well as around her mouth and a rash all over her body). It hurt her to eat for 3 days, but we eventually found that oatmeal, yogurt, and pudding didn't hurt. So that's all she ate. Also, the sippy cup hurt the blisters on her tongue, so we used a straw and drank from a big girl cup. Luckily by Saturday, she was back to her happy self. It was a long week (for baby and mommy) but we got through it!

Easter 2010

We had just a wonderful Easter weekend! Elizabeth is at such a fun age right now that everything seems so exciting! We started Saturday off by going to our community egg hunt. Here is Elizabeth getting aquainted with her basket.

Here we are waiting for the hunt to start.

Hanging out in the bleachers at the park waiting. But we've got our basket!
And we're off! They divided the kids by age so the biggest kids with us were 3.
Yep, I can carry the basket too!
Ooh...airplane...

Yep, we still put stuff in our mouth.
And we learned to drink from a straw!
After a nap, we dyed some Easter eggs. Here's the before picture. Once again this year, we lost 2 in the hard boiling process.
I tried to get E to stand in the chair, but she has embraced "Chairs are for sitting" and refused to stand. So she ended up sitting with her head right at the table. Guess we should get a booster seat.
Ready to go!
Checking it out. Watch the video I will post soon to see the actual process.

Finished product!

E had also had first lollipop this weekend. A dumdum. She liked it a alot.

She did not like Daddy taking it away from here when it got near the end.

And on Sunday, the Easter bunny left Elizabeth some goodies and her only table and chairs! Some lollipops too...

After our practice the day before, we were ready for an egg hunt!

And then we put our pretty clothes on and went to Mimi and Papaws. Hi Isaac!
More eggs to hunt!
Alec was a good egg-hunter.

I was really surprised by how much our little toddler got into the egg hunt this year. But all three of them knew exactly what to do and had such a good time. Such a shame we have to wait another year to do it again!
Then there was swinging.
Alec and Poppa played with Poppa's hat.
And there were goldfish!
After an outfit change for E, we played ball!
What a cutie that Alec is.

What a wonderful Easter!
